Breakout Topic: “The Crooked Road.”  An IT executive’s guiding principles for career success, including a network infrastructure evolution case study that illustrates the opportunity to balance often conflicting requirements.

Through the majority of Cathleen Lilli’s career, she has had the great opportunity to span many jobs as an IT professional. These jobs range from Application Development, Systems Engineering, to Sales & IT management positions (application & infrastructure). The variation of job roles assisted her in understanding all aspects of delivering IT services. Additionally, she had a unique opportunity for two years, as the Customer Service Partner representing the Chief Operations Officer for a large Northeast Bank. In this role, she was able to transform the Operations Division from inward-focused to a customer driven and customer-focused organization. This experience was personally rewarding and incredibly eye opening for her to see that when the conversation changes to focus on the customer all differences are set aside and solutions are developed.

Don’t miss the opportunity to learn more about Cathleen Lilli and her professional accomplishments at Konica Minolta. Listen to her live on ITEN Wired Radio on9/28/2016 at 9:00 a.m. CST.

Escambia County BCC

November 2014 – Present (1 year 11 months)

I am simultaneously proud and humbled by the overwhelming majority of voters who have put their faith in me to lead Escambia County into the future. The simmering optimism in the county is tangible, as we have never had this confluence of events at any time in our history. We will use the nearly $200M in RESTORE Act funding to not only regain what was lost in the BP Deep Water Horizon oil spill but to launch Escambia County into a new and exciting future. Escambia County will set the example for stewardship of natural resources while growing our clean industry base. We will demonstrate how to bring historically underrepresented groups into the technology fold. The best kept secret in the cyber industry is the work-life balance in Escambia County…we are going to shout it from the mountaintops for the next four years!
